Hi Fran - Always glad to have regular visitors like yourself. When you pick up that polarizing filter be sure you select the "55mm" filter thread size for your P880. It looks like you'll need to purchase an adapter as well. The results of outdoor photos will knock your socks off. Once attached, stand 90 degrees of the sun and rotate the filter until the sky is a brilliant blue. Plus, you can use it to take photos through windows. With a slight turn of the filter, you can eliminate reflections from windows. While the filter is currently out of stock (when I checked at Amazon), I recommend you checkout Amazon as they typically offer the most competitive prices for camera accessories.

BTW - It does my heart good to see North Carolina Real Estate markets performing well in spite of the economy. We hope to be developing a website for a blogger (Leigh Brown), and we are developing another site for a new startup agency (Destinations Carolinas Realty) in the greater Charlotte area soon.

Bobby, I check your blog pretty regularly, and this post on beach photos is timely. My family is renting a beach house this June for a week (unfortunately not in NC)and your tips on pictures at the beach will be very helpful. I'm going to look for a polarizing lens for my Kodak P880 digital camera.
By the way, the P880 is a good camera for real estate photography for a few reasons; it accepts an external flash with a hot shoe, and it has a 28mm wide angle lens. It also allows you to shoot at .8 megapixels up to 8 megapixels. Thanks again for the tips!
